Qualifications

• Completed H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1+ year experience in tax prep, accounting, or bookkeeping, including individual/business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications, offer recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings and HR Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notices, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, client-focused office.
