Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields
• Experience in a client-facing advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financials and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment
