H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete tax returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to understand tax situations, and offer personalized recommendations. This in-person role at a local H&R Block tax office offers training, competitive hourly pay, and an incentive plan as you build tax expertise and client relationships.

Qualifications

1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including individual and business returns.
Strong client-facing, consultative or advisory experience.
Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations.
Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and provide recommendations.
Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities.
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive office environment.
