Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You’ll prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, and leverage industry-leading training and tools.

This in-person role offers an hourly rate, an incentive plan, and opportunities to build lasting client relationships while learning tax and financial services.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience, including individual and business returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
