H&R Block, Inc. seeks a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to advise clients, prepare accurate tax returns, and identify savings opportunities.

This in-person role provides comprehensive training and access to industry-leading technology, with an incentive plan that rewards your impact as you build tax expertise and serve clients. You will interview clients, handle complex returns, and collaborate with a supportive team in a local tax office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of tax preparation or related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must complete continuing education and IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications; provide clear recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
