H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete tax returns for clients with complex situations in a local office environment.

You will interview clients, provide personalized tax recommendations, and identify savings opportunities while delivering empathetic, consultative service under strong training and technology support. This in-person role emphasizes client relationships, accuracy, and collaboration with a supportive team creating a positive office

Qualifications

• 1+ year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience, including individual/business returns
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• High school diploma or equivalent required; continuing education and IRS/state requirements must be met

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive client-focused office environment
