Job summary

H&R Block in Hildebran, NC is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You will prepare accurate returns, interview clients to understand their finances, and identify tax savings opportunities using our training and technology.

In this in-person role, you will collaborate with teammates, deliver client-focused service, and provide IRS support when needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• At least 1 year in tax prep or related field.
• Experience in client-facing advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must complete continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and maintain a positive client-focused office environment.
