Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax forms and provide expert tax knowledge. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and support clients with IRS audit processes in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers flexible scheduling, including day and night shifts, weekends, and full-time or part-time options. Training is provided to help you learn and grow in the tax industry.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of computer functions.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• PTIN Certification: Yes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Provide clients with IRS audit support.
• Complete all related tax forms in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Collect and process clients’ payments while ensuring timely deposits.
• Marketing and business generation efforts.
• Furnishes taxpayers with information and advice to ensure correct tax form completion.
