You’ll work with a team to assist customers, learn new tools, and help clients navigate the filing process using april’s tax services embedded in partner sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service in fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience providing high-touch chat support and phone support.
• Comfort with learning new technology and systems quickly.
• Familiarity with CRM/ticketing tools like Zendesk, Salesforce, Intercom.
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to customers.
• Proficiency with digital tools for secure document sharing and portals.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple conversations.

Responsibilities

• Support Pro customers via chat by answering tax questions, assisting with document gathering, and providing status updates on their returns.
• Respond to every customer with warmth, patience, and professionalism, including those who are stressed or facing difficulties.
• Conduct outreach via messaging and outbound calls as filing deadlines approach.
• Own customer issues through to resolution, following up and keeping customers informed.
• Escalate issues per process and policy when needed.
• Meet or exceed goals for customer satisfaction, service quality, and efficiency.
• Navigate multiple systems and tools to document interactions and resolve issues.
• Share feedback with leadership and product teams to improve the product and processes.
