Job summary

No prior tax experience required; with training from day one, you’ll work with clients to gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions in person at a local tax office. Meet with clients to gather information, prepare returns with guidance, and explain tax information clearly while building strong client relationships through teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
• Strong communication and ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems, including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations to clients.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relevant products/services.
• Address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
