Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with support from experienced teammates. You will explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong client relationships in-person at a local tax office.

No prior tax experience is required as training is provided, with opportunities to increase earnings as you build knowledge during the tax season.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• Successful completion of tax-related coursework or exposure to tax processes is a plus, with training provided
