Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in person at a local tax office in Colorado. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.

You’ll explain tax details clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong relationships through teamwork and a client-first approach. No prior tax experience required; training provided. Availability for peak periods is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills to explain information clearly and ask questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving and ability to organize information and derive solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based systems.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relevant products/services.
• Address client questions with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities.
