Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office in the Denver area. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and mentorship from experienced colleagues.

You’ll explain tax concepts clearly, identify savings opportunities, and help clients understand recommendations while building strong relationships. No prior tax experience is required; you’ll earn a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
• Clear communication and ability to ask questions to assess needs.
• Problem-solving and information-organizing skills.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend products and services.
• Analyze client information and address questions with guidance.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
