You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates. Communicate clearly, identify tax-saving opportunities, and build strong client relationships while contributing to office priorities.

No prior tax experience is required; pay is hourly with opportunities to increase earnings as you gain tax knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations clients can understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relevant products/services.
• Address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
