Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions while building essential client relationships.

No prior tax experience is required as training and support are provided from day one. You will earn an hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge and expertise during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent tax training.
• Experience interacting with customers in service-oriented environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; able to explain information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide client-facing recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and propose relevant products and services.
• Analyze client information and address questions with guidance and resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
