Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office. You will work directly with clients to gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions—no prior tax experience required.

You’ll train from day one and earn a competitive hourly rate while building client relationships. This in-person role offers on-site collaboration and opportunities to grow tax knowledge and earnings during peak season.

Qualifications

• Experience in service-oriented roles with strong communication.
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relevant products/services.
• Work in a team to support office priorities and client relationships.
