Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather tax information, and prepare returns with training and support from experienced teammates.

You’ll learn to explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and advise clients on products and services. Availability for evenings/weekends during peak season is preferred, with 15–40 hours weekly during tax season.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Clear communication and ability to explain information.
• Strong problem-solving and information organizing skills.
• Comfort using AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities
