Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate to support client tax returns in-person at a local office. No prior tax experience is required, as training is provided from day one.

You will gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions while building client relationships. You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you gain tax knowledge. The role requires 15–35 hours per week, with up to 40 hours during peak periods, and occasional evenings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service or client-facing role.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort using AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and advise on products and services.
• Build strong client relationships through teamwork and a client-first approach.
