H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to help clients with tax returns and questions, with training provided from day one. This in-person role offers hands-on client service at a local tax office in the Seattle area.

You’ll meet with clients, gather information, prepare tax returns, explain tax concepts clearly, and build lasting relationships while supporting office priorities and teamwork during peak tax season.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent training.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-focused environment.
• Strong communication and listening skills with clarity in explanations.
• Problem-solving and ability to organize information to identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based assistants.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products.
• Address client questions or unique situations with available resources.
