H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to start a career in tax and client services, with training from day one. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions while building client relationships.

This in-person role is based at a local H&R Block tax office and offers an hourly rate with room to grow as you gain tax knowledge. No prior tax experience is required; successful completion of the HR Block Income Tax Course is part of the onboarding.

Formación

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI tools
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions with guidance
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach
