You’ll meet with clients, gather information, prepare returns, and explain tax concepts while supporting clients and teammates. Training is provided, with opportunities to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows.

No prior tax experience is required; strong communication and service orientation are essential. Availability for peak periods, evenings, and weekends is common in tax season.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to address questions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
