You will work directly with clients to gather information and prepare tax returns in a local office, building strong relationships. No prior tax experience is required; you’ll learn to explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and support office priorities through teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience in a service-oriented environment with customers/clients
• Strong communication and the ability to explain information clearly
• Problem-solving and organizing information to identify solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations for clients
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend related products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach
