H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to start a career in tax and client services. No prior tax experience required.

This in-person role at a local tax office includes training and support from day one while you gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions. You will meet with clients, identify tax savings opportunities, explain information clearly, and build strong client relationships through teamwork and a client-first approach.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems included AI based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED/ equivalent

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
