H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate for an in-person role at a local tax office. You will start with training and support from day one, meeting clients to gather information and prepare tax returns while building strong client relationships.

No prior tax experience is required; you will learn to identify tax savings opportunities and explain tax information clearly, with opportunities to increase earnings as you gain tax knowledge and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain information clearly and ask questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to organize information.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and advise on relevant products and services.
• Address questions or unique situations with guidance and resources.
