Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. invites you to join as a seasonal Tax Associate in a local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather tax information, and prepare returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

Training is provided from day one to help you grow knowledge and build client relationships. You’ll learn to explain tax concepts clearly, identify savings opportunities, and recommend relevant products and services while maintaining a client-first approach.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in an understandable way.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Address client questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and client-first approach.
