H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to start a career in tax and client services.

You’ll work directly with clients to gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions with training and support from day one, in person at a local tax office. No prior tax experience is required, but you will earn a competitive hourly rate and have opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge and contribute to client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment.
• Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to organize information.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide client-friendly recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and explain relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address questions and handle unique situations.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
