Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to meet with clients, gather tax information, and prepare returns with guidance from experienced teammates. No prior tax experience required, with training provided.

The role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office and offers an hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows. You will work directly with clients, ask questions to understand needs, explain tax information clearly, and identify potential savings

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment
• Strong communication skills including explaining information clearly

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relevant products/services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork
