H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to help clients gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions with training from day one. This in-person role offers an hourly rate and opportunities to grow as tax knowledge increases.

You will meet with clients, prepare returns, explain tax concepts clearly, and identify savings opportunities while supporting office priorities through teamwork during peak season.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain information clearly.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
