H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to help clients with tax preparation and related services. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare returns with guidance from experienced teammates while learning tax concepts and software tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort with AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• Experience with digital tools and systems.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
