Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to start a career in tax and client services with day-one training. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare returns in person at a local tax office.

No prior tax experience is required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, plus comfort with AI tools, will help you grow. Hours range 15–40 per week during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in an understandable way.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions with guidance.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
