H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to work in person at a local tax office in Utah. You will meet with clients, collect information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

You will explain tax concepts clearly and suggest relevant products or services to optimize outcomes. You will earn a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities to grow as you gain tax knowledge and experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Problem-solving and information organizing abilities.
Familiarity with AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
Able to work 15-35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsabilités

Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions with guidance and resources.
Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach.
