Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office in Colville, WA. You'll help clients gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions with training from day one.

No prior tax experience is required; you’ll earn a competitive hourly rate and have opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge during peak season. In-person, seasonal schedule with up to 40 hours during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience in a service-oriented environment handling customers/clients.
• Strong communication, including explaining information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving to address questions with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
