H&R Block is seeking seasonal Tax Associates to help clients gather information and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates. You will explain tax concepts clearly, identify savings opportunities, and recommend relevant services while building strong client relationships.

With training from day one, you’ll learn tax basics and customer-service skills in a supportive, in-person office setting.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED/ equivalent

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
