This role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office, with training and support from day one to help you build valuable client-service skills.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based assistance (Copilot/ChatGPT).
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations clients can understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
