H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to help clients with tax preparation at a local tax office in Georgia. No prior tax experience is required, as training and support are provided from day one, and you will work directly with clients to gather information and complete returns.

You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to grow as you build tax knowledge and experience. This in-person role emphasizes client service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the HR Block Income Tax Course or equivalent.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication and questioning to understand needs.
• Problem-solving and information organization.
• Comfort using digital tools including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
