This in-person role is based at a local H&R Block tax office. No prior tax experience is required, and you will earn a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to grow as you learn tax knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment.
• Strong communication, including explaining information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills to organize information and find solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations clients can understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address questions or unique situations with guidance.
