H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Advisor for an in-person, office-based role in El Paso, TX. You will prepare complete tax returns for individuals and businesses, conduct client interviews to understand financial situations, and offer personalized tax-saving recommendations.

Qualifications

• Completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts plainly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• HS diploma or equivalent required

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications
• Deliver personalized tax savings recommendations and cross-sell HR Block products
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
