Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare returns, interview clients, and provide personalized tax guidance. This in-person role focuses on building relationships and uncovering savings opportunities while delivering quality service at a local office.

You will work with a team, utilize our training and technology, and participate in an incentive plan based on impact and growth in tax expertise.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1 year of tax preparation or related experience including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse clients (individual & business).
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide clear, personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
