Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Tax Advisor to prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations. You will conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and life changes, then offer clear, personalized recommendations.

In this role, you will build trusted relationships, identify tax savings opportunities and products, and provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed. In-person at a local H&R Block office.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
