No prior tax or accounting experience is required as training is provided before the season begins. This position runs mid-January through April 15 with 15+ hours weekly and potential for renewal in future seasons.

Responsibilities

• Scan and organize incoming client documents accurately and timely.
• Prepare and route scanned documents per office procedures.
• Support administrative staff with client document intake as needed.
• Review tax documents ahead of preparation ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Flag missing items for the preparer without making tax judgments.
• Maintain organized, high-volume binder and document workflow daily.
• Process files and meet turnaround expectations, especially during peak.
• Assemble completed tax returns into client-ready packets for pickup or delivery.
• Track signed documents and follow up as directed.
• Assist with general office duties including supply management and data entry.
• Support additional operations projects as needed.
