You will follow ticketed instructions, measure and mark lines, shorten or lengthen parts, relocate buttons, and press items as needed. Qualifications include proven tailoring experience, good dexterity, ability to read tickets, and knowledge of RF scanners.

Qualifications

• Experience in tailoring and alterations.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read picking tickets and follow instructions.
• Proficiency with sewing machines and pressing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow tailoring/alteration processes and instructions from ticket comments.
• Measure, mark, and alter garments as specified.
• Shorten/lengthen sleeves, legs, waist, or chest; adjust collars or lapels.
• Relocate or replace buttons; resew with machine or hand sewing.
• Press garments and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Operate and maintain sewing machines and pressing equipment as needed.
