Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Instruct swimming lessons following Red Cross guidelines with prepared lesson plans.
• Builds relationships with students and parents; encourage involvement and volunteers.
• Conveys information on aquatics programs and schedules.
• Maintains records (attendance, progress reports).
• Attends staff meetings and trainings as scheduled.
• Follows YMCA policies and safety procedures; completes incident reports.
• Organizes and stores class equipment; reports damaged items.
• Trains and supervises class aides as assigned.
