Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Surgical Technician or First Assist.
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) required or CSFA/CSA required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub person, maintain sterile field and prepare instruments.
• Provide exposure through instrument handling, retractors, suctioning as directed.
• Assist with tissue handling, vessel control, and drainage as instructed.
• Assist in wound closure and dressing per surgeon instructions.
• Ensure sterility and safety; perform counting procedures with RN circulator.
