Job summary

Five Below in Shelton, CT is looking for an experienced leader to support store operations, train crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, and ensure guests have a fast, friendly checkout.

You will help oversee daily activities of associates, assist with receiving and stocking, act as Manager on Duty, open/close duties, and work with the leadership team to boost sales and control expenses. A High School diploma and at least 1 year of management experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• College experience is preferred for advancement.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience and checkout speed.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures service quality.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and stocking for fast placement on floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Occasionally manages opening/closing, cash, alarms and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives store sales and helps control expenses through merchandising and performance.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising and processes.
• Performs store maintenance and housekeeping duties.
