Job summary

Catbird NYC in Seattle is seeking Seasonal Store Stylists to join our store team with part time availability. This seasonal position runs from October 2026 through January 15, 2026 and involves delivering high-level customer service and jewelry styling education.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of customer service to create a welcoming buying experience.
• Greet and engage customers using the Catbird approved greetings.
• Educate customers about Catbird jewelry and styling across Catbird and designer assortment.
• Style customers based on their preferences and needs and make personalized recommendations.
• Assist managers with restock, receiving, and maintaining inventory & visual standards.
• Operate the POS system with accuracy and efficiency at checkout.
• Engage in opening and closing duties and downtime tasks.

The Store Stylist is integral to our store as they are the ones who work directly with our customers, creating a warm welcoming customer experience and providing our customers with the highest level of product education and styling recommendations.

We are looking for Seasonal Stylists to join our store team in Seattle, with part time availability.

This is a seasonal position that will run from October 2026-January 15th 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• All aspects of customer service to create a welcoming, and helpful buying experience for our customers
  • This does not include services provided by Catbird at the time (Zapping/Piercing)
• Greeting and engaging with customers to ensure they are welcomed into the store. This includes using the Catbird approved greetings and directed to meet the customers shopping needs
  • Examples include
    • "Hi, welcome to Catbird! How can I help you today?"
    • "Have you shopped with us before?"
    • "Let me show you some newness we have in store"
    • "Have you ever been zapped before/do you know about our permanent jewelry?!"
• Awareness of full product assortment and able to educate our customers about product knowledge and Catbird jewelry styling
  • Including both Catbird and Designer Assortment
• Style customers based on their preferences and needs.
• Offers suggestions to the customer that are personalized and compliments their requests
  • CHARM each customer and ensure they are leaving with the best Catbird experience.
• Assists managers in restock, receiving, cleaning, and maintaining inventory & visual standards throughout the store
  • Assist with In Store Pick Ups, Tag Audits, and running product to the floor.
  • Engage in downtime tasks, including opening and closing duties.
• Creates a delightful lasting impression while ringing customers out on our Point of Sale system, with accuracy & efficiency.
