Job summary

Catbird in Georgetown, DC is seeking a Seasonal Store Stylist for part-time hours from October 2026 to January 15, 2026. You will work directly with customers, educating them about products and styling jewelry to meet their preferences.

Ideal candidates have retail experience, love connecting with people, and enjoy collaborating with a store team. This role includes commissions on sales and the opportunity to deliver a warm, personalized shopping experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• All aspects of customer service to create a welcoming buying experience.
• Greeting and engaging with customers to ensure they feel welcomed.
• Educate customers about product knowledge and jewelry styling.
• Style jewelry to match customer preferences and needs.
• Offer personalized suggestions that complement requests.
• Assist with restock, receiving, cleaning and maintaining inventory & visuals.
• Ring customers out accurately and efficiently on the POS system.

The Store Stylist is integral to our store as they are the ones who work directly with our customers, creating a warm welcoming customer experience and providing our customers with the highest level of product education and styling recommendations.

We are looking for Seasonal Stylists to join our store team in Georgetown, DC, with part time availability.

This is a seasonal position that will run from October 2026-January 15th 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• All aspects of customer service to create a welcoming, and helpful buying experience for our customers.
• Greeting and engaging with customers to ensure they are welcomed into the store. This includes using the Catbird approved greetings and directed to meet the customers shopping needs.
• Awareness of full product assortment and able to educate our customers about product knowledge and Catbird jewelry styling.
• Style customers based on their preferences and needs.
• Offers suggestions to the customer that are personalized and compliments their requests.
• Assists managers in restock, receiving, cleaning, and maintaining inventory & visual standards throughout the store.
• Creates a delightful lasting impression while ringing customers out on our Point of Sale system, with accuracy & efficiency.
