Job summary

Catbird NYC is hiring a Store Stylist for its Los Angeles stores. This seasonal role runs from October through January, with part-time hours and weekend flexibility.

You’ll interact with customers, educate them on Catbird jewelry, and provide styling recommendations to ensure a memorable shopping experience. Ideal candidates have retail experience and a passion for jewelry, strong customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with store teammates.

Job description

The Store Stylist is integral to our store as they are the ones who work directly with our customers, creating a warm welcoming customer experience and providing our customers with the highest level of product education and styling recommendations.

We are looking for Seasonal Stylists to join our store team in LA, with part time availability and flexibility to work weekends at both LA store locations.

This is a seasonal position that will run from October 2026-January 15th 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• All aspects of customer service to create a welcoming, and helpful buying experience for our customers
• Greeting and engaging with customers to ensure they are welcomed into the store. This includes using the Catbird approved greetings and directed to meet the customers shopping needs
  • Examples include
    • “Hi, welcome to Catbird! How can I help you today?”
    • “Have you shopped with us before?”
    • “Let me show you some newness we have in store”
    • “Have you ever been zapped before/do you know about our permanent jewelry?!”
• Awareness of full product assortment and able to educate our customers about product knowledge and Catbird jewelry styling
  • Including both Catbird and Designer Assortment
• Style customers based on their preferences and needs.
• Offers suggestions to the customer that are personalized and compliments their requests
  • CHARM each customer and ensure they are leaving with the best Catbird experience.
• Assists managers in restock, receiving, cleaning, and maintaining inventory & visual standards throughout the store
  • Assist with In Store Pick Up’s, Tag Audits, and running product to the floor.
  • Engage in downtime tasks, including opening and closing duties.
• Creates a delightful lasting impression while ringing customers out on our Point of Sale system, with accuracy & efficiency.

• Retail experience required, jewelry experience a plus
