Job summary

City of Aurora, Colorado is seeking seasonal Streets Operations Worker to perform unskilled to semiskilled manual tasks and operate street maintenance equipment. The role supports the Public Works Department in keeping city streets safe and functional.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 6 months of related labor or equipment experience. CDL may be required, and safety is a core priority. This is a seasonal position with up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of related manual labor or equipment operation experience preferred.
• Colorado CDL and FMCSA pre/post trip inspection may be required when hired.

Responsibilities

• Shovel and tamp asphalt and pothole repairs.
• Load/unload tools and assist in street installation and repair.
• Operate and maintain light to medium equipment and vehicles.
• Perform snow and ice control operations as needed.
• Assist with roadside trash pickup and other duties as assigned.
