Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Seasonal Operations Associate to support store operations before opening and deliver a strong customer experience through hands-on tasks around the sales floor.

This early-morning seasonal role includes stocking, pricing, online order pickup fulfillment, and backroom organization, with potential extension based on performance. Training and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Sales floor customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to execute pricing and signing accurately and quickly.
• Assist with stocking and restocking merchandise.
• Receive and unload merchandise and keep backroom organized.
• Support online order pickup fulfillment as needed.
• Follow merchandising plans and uphold store standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service on the sales floor.
• Execute pricing and signing across the store.
• Restock merchandise to ensure availability of sizes and styles.
• Receive and unload merchandise and prepare it for the floor/backroom.
• Maintain clean, safe backroom standards.
• Handle online jcp.com pickup orders.
• Implement merchandising plans as directed by leadership.
• Participate in a learning environment and training.
