Job summary

QE Solar is seeking Solar Vegetation Technicians to support vegetation management across utility-scale sites in the Midwest during the May–October 2026 season. This field-based role involves mowing, trimming, and working outdoors with crews and autonomous work, ensuring safety and quality.

Candidates should be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift 50 lbs, and obtain OSHA-10 within 14 days of hire. Seasonal with potential for long-term opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years old or older.
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
Conversational English required.
Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification within 14 days of hire (company-supported).

Responsibilities

Vegetation Management (Mowing & Trimming) across solar arrays and open areas.
Operate commercial riding and zero-turn mowers.
Perform trimming around equipment, fencing, and access areas.
Maintain safety and protect solar infrastructure on site.
